about
I met the gorgeous Lisa Shalom (spoken word poetry ninja) through Tom Hauser, they were staying at the same backpackers while travelling through Portugal.
She and I hit it off and spent 24 hours together and wrote a song and made a music video. it was great!
This is a song dedicated to all the wonderful amazing people all over the world we met, who for one reason or another are not directly in our sphere right now. I have so many wonderful people like this. Because I choose to seek truth in my life (whatever that even means) I find myself doing weird stuff like travelling freely and then randomly staying in Portugal for like 5 years.. and that makes it hard to see the amazing people I love so much. Anywho - It's a gorgeous song
lyrics
Verse:
Where do all the good ones go
The leaves are turning soon will come the snow, you know
I know you got your path ahead
I see you got your light to spread so long
I'll see you after this song
Chorus:
You shoot across the sky sparkle like a diamond
See I'm watching you fly as you light up the horizon
You're Fire burning bright everywhere you are
Even when we're apart you inspire me from afar
Verse:
And if i had just one wish
I'd round you up like sardine fish and I'd squish
Your little cheeks
Lisa:
This is a song of appreciation
For the friends, lovers and strangers we've met along the way
From Montreal to Aotearoa, Land of the Long White Cloud
To New York, Israel, Portugal and beyond
I know your filling hearts, activating change,
Instigating evolution lifting the scene along your way,
In your way
And that's what counts
As much as I'd like to have you near me
I know you'r exactly where you need to be
Thank you for blessing my way
Chorus:
You shot across the sky
Sparkle like a diamond
See I'm watching you fly as you light up the horizon
Verse:
And I'd love it if I had you here
I'd hold you so tight keep you near, my friend
I wanna see you again
But I wouldn't wanna change your way
I know you've got so much to say, so fly
And touch the sky
Keep walking your way
Speak your truth
I trust in all you say and do
I'm here, don't fear
Call me anytime you need
My home is your home yes indeed
My friend
I wanna see you again
